Application and Clearance Process
We are excited to welcome our parent visitors and volunteers back onto our campus!
To help ensure the safety of our students and staff and to protect our highly regarded instructional programs, TVUSD has identified an application and clearance process for community members that wish to volunteer at or visit a school campus. TVUSD utilizes the Raptor system for visitor and volunteer check-in verification.
Visitor~ A visitor is someone who comes to our campus for events and activities such as student presentations and performances, awards and recognition ceremonies and other events that are not on a continual or long-term basis. Visitors are not in direct contact with students.
Volunteer~ A volunteer is someone who comes to our campus on a continual or regular basis and is in direct contact with students.
Visitors
Visitors are allowed to come on campus without verification of any type of mandated health requirement. Visitors are still required to complete the online application and sign in through the Raptor system when they come on campus.
Volunteers
In order to visit or volunteer, a community member must~
1) Complete an application online. You can find it here: ONLINE APPLICATION
2) Submit the required documents: Picture ID, Code of Conduct, Megan's Law documentation.
Additionally, volunteers are to provide:
*Proof of a Negative TB test and
*Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination
For those that are not vaccinated, they can be cleared to volunteer by submitting a negative COVID test. The test must be from a verified healthcare facility and must be dated within 7 days of your volunteer day. Home tests are not acceptable for this requirement. TVUSD can provide COVID-19 testing free of charge to our parent community members. Please contact Health Services to schedule an appointment via email: healthservices@tvusd.us or at 951-294-6050.
