Welcome!

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 24th year teaching. I have taught K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, along with 1st/2nd grade combo classes. I have also had the priviledge of teaching in a Dual Language immersion school. I have earned a Bachelors in Psychology, California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD certification, Texas Teaching Credential and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am GATE certified and biliterate in Spanish. I have a passion for teaching and learning. 

On my freetime I enjoy gardening, going to the beach, DIY projects, tending to my sulcata tortoises, and spending time with family and friends. I am currently enjoying the challenge of learning how to sew!

It is is my personal belief that a positive and honest teacher-parent relationship is necessary for the optimal success of your child. I value cultural differences and believe diversity is what makes us unique.
