2024 TVUSD High School Credit Recovery and Accelerated Summer School

  • Site location: Temecula Valley High School
    Dates: 6/14/24 - 7/12/24
    Session 1: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 10:30 am
    Session 2: Monday - Friday, 10:45 am - 12:45 pm

    Please note the first day of school is Friday, June 14th
    No school on Wednesday, June 19th & Thursday, July 4th  

    Registration will open on the morning of Monday, April 22, 2024, and close at the end of the day on Friday, May 24th. 

Session Times

Options

  • There are no fees for these courses.

    • APEX - Non-college prep (class of 2024 and 2025 only): I need graduation credit only
    • Credit Recovery (College Prep): I need to repeat a failed class or classes
    • Acceleration: I have a 3.0 or above and want to accelerate by taking a full year-long course in 4 weeks

Registration

    • The registration link will open on the morning of Monday, April 22, 2024, and close at the end of the day, Friday, May 24th. 
    • Late registration will occur in person at Temecula Valley High School on June 12th, 8:00 am - 10:00 am.
    • Not all registered courses are guaranteed placement in summer school.
    • Priority is given first to Seniors and then to Juniors.
    • Class offerings are subject to change due to enrollment/staffing needs.
    • Counselors will approve the Apex and College Prep Recovery requests prior to them being entered.
    • Summer School registration status and next steps will be sent via email by June 13th. 

Attendance

    • Summer School is a credit recovery or acceleration opportunity. One day of instruction is equivalent to 2 weeks of instruction. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the attendance rules.

    Students will be dropped upon the completion of the 2nd absence and will not receive credit.

    Students will receive an F and be dropped upon their 2nd absence.

    3 tardies = 1 absence
