I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Katy DePauw and I am thrilled to be your child's 2nd grade teacher!  I have been teaching at LES for 8 years and I love every minute of it.  Throughout the school year it is my goal to use every instructional minute to make sure your child leaves 2nd grade fully prepared for 3rd grade.  I look forward to a FUN and rewarding year for your child!  

A little about me.....in 2005 I married Mike DePauw and we enjoyed traveling and just having FUN!  On May 12, 2008 our first child, Avery Kara DePauw was born!  She is currently a 10th grader at Temecula Valley High School.  On August 17, 2014 our second child, Brody Michael DePauw was born.  He is currently a 4th grader here at LES.  Both kids keep us busy pretty much all the time!  

I recieved my Bachelors Degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Education from National University.
