Dear Ysabel Barnett Families,

Welcome to our Awesome school! I am the Assistant Principal of Ysabel Barnett Elementary School.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to co-lead a school with such a rich tradition of quality instruction!  I have been dedicated to the field of education for over twenty years; 22 in which I have spent in TVUSD.  Some of my educational experiences include: classroom teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), Literacy Specialist, and Intervention Administrator. On a more personal note, I love to travel!

I am happy to join the incredible team of educational leaders at Ysabel Barnett Elementary and I am looking forward to working with you as an instructional partner to ensure student success.  My goal is to support our dedicated teachers and staff, as they continue supporting all students as they achieve their personal best each year academically, socially, and emotionally. Equally as important, I  support students and their families through open communication, ELAC, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports, and Restorative Practices.

I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Barnett meet their goals and have a successful school year!  My door is open and I welcome your feedback. I am looking forward to continuing  this journey as a part of the Pioneer Family.
