Looking forward to another Great Oak year!  Great Oak PE is an excellent opportunity to help the blood flow in your body and stimulate brain activity for increased learning.  We promote lifelong fitness along with a mix of individual and team activities.  Our overall wellness is extremely important in the physical, mental and emotional health.   

I grew up in beautiful, Amish Country, Pennsylvania and played multiple sports.  After high school, I attended the University of Virginia and played field hockey where we competed for the NCAA Tournament. After college, I coached Division I field hockey at both Ohio University and Indiana University.  In my last year of coaching, I decided to move back towards family where I decided to teach high school.  One exciting adventure was teaching at the prestigious Sidwell Friends School.  I moved to California with my family in 2012 and have enjoyed the sunshine ever since. Surfing has been a new challenge since moving to California and I am still trying to stand up for more than two seconds.  Time spent with family, friends, traveling and outdoors are always memorable.  At home, I enjoy soaking up every minute with my bundle of joy toddler.  I also enjoy spending time with my 14 year old step-daughter.  I have grown up an avid sports fan and enjoy the accountability that sport has taught me to use in many areas in my life.  I am very happy to be a part of the Wolfpack!  You can also find me on the sideline where I am coaching Great Oak Field Hockey.  GO PACK!
