Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Bree Tacy

~RES School Psychologist"

About Me:

Hello Rancho Elementary staff, parents and students!  My name is Ms. Tacy and I am the School Psychologist here at Rancho Elementary.  I am on campus on Monday's and Tuesday's and at another elementary school the rest of the week.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in School Psychology from National University.  I have also worked with the Temecula Valley School District as an Instructional Aide for a few years prior to becoming a School Psychologist.  I am passionate about working with students to help them progress in all aspects of their educational experience, whether that be socially, emotionally, behavioral or academically.

My Role:

I assist in a lot of ways, including teaching students how to manage their emotions, collaborating with teachers on how best to support their students at school and within their classrooms, and discussing with parents effective strategies they can implement with their students at home.  My role as a School Psychologist is to attend Student Study Team meetings (SST) and evaluate students who are exhibiting academic or behavioral concerns.

I am also a proud staff member of the Rancho Kindness Crew and help to facilitate and spread kindness throughout our campus.  Our Kindness Crew holds meetings on Mondays where we explore with our students ways of spreading kindness to others each and every day.

Thank you roadrunners for letting me be a part of your school.  I have met so many wonderful staff members, parents and students.  I look forward to working with you all for the rest of the school year.
