Ms. Debbie
I teach a preschool Special Day Class (SDC) for 3 & 4-year-old students. I reside in Temecula with my husband and our boy/girl twins, who attend Great Oak High School. I love to travel, read, walk, and spend time with my family, friends, and dogs.
It is a privilege to be involved in early childhood intervention as a special education teacher. As I witness the progress of my students, my heart is touched. When I see the looks on my student’s faces as they gain skills, it makes me smile. Our classroom is primarily play-based, which allows young children to connect learning to their world. Through facilitated play, students learn early literacy, math, social skills, language skills, and more.
“Every child has a unique learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning, but also capable of succeeding”. - Robert John Meehan
