I've been an elementary teacher for 19 years- working in 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. Much of that time has been here at FVES, but I spent 3 years at Temecula Elementary School and 3 years as the President of the Temecula Valley Educators Association, too.

I have 3 children who all attended TVUSD schools and a terrific husband and a dog. My hobbies are swimming, kayaking, hiking, paddle-boarding, and reading Scandinavian and Italian mystery novels, along with books about education. I'm a big Bruce Springsteen fan.  I spend my summers at a remote cabin in northern Minnesota on a lake, and on Spring Break, for the last few years, I've been traveling with my husband to destinations in Europe.
