My name is Melissa Casassa and I am your child’s 1st grade teacher.  This is my 19th year of teaching, and my 5th year in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade.  Previously, I’ve taught in Jurupa Unified School District here in California, Clark County School District in Nevada, and Jefferson County School District which is  in Colorado. I received my teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton, and have a Master’s degree from Chapman University.

I have 2 kids in the Temecula district who attend Gardner Middle School and Great Oak High School. I have also been married for 20 years and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
