Hello! My name is Alicia Wonacott and I am a kindergarten teacher at Susan La Vorgna Elementary (LES). I have been teaching in the Temecula School District for 15 years. During that time I have taught third grade, first grade, and kindergarten.Besides working at French Valley Elementary and Pauba Valley Elementary I also had the opportunity of helping to open La Vorgna Elementary School, teaching kindergarten. That first year of teaching kindergarten got me hooked! I love teaching kindergarten and watching all of the excitement and growth throughout the year. One of the most exciting and rewarding jobs for me, is teaching children how to read! I love finding the special qualities and strengths unique to each student and helping to celebrate them. It is also my goal to help each student start their educational journey with a love for learning. I absolutely love teaching and love kids and feel that my job is a great privilege!
