Hello there, my name is Jody Zalewski and it is with pleasure that I introuduce myself to you!  I am a 1st grade teacher at La Vorgna Elementary.  I have been teaching for a total of 36 years

and have been in Temecula Unified since 1986.  I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grade and must say 1st grade is definitely my passion! 

I have been married over 30 years and have three grown children, Steven- 29, Zac-27 and Matthew-24.

My hobbies are gardening, camping, going to concerts (mostly country) and reading.
