Welcome to fourth grade!  I am excited to be your child's teacher this year.  We will be sharing many exciting adventures together as we "surf across California"!

I began my teaching career 36 years ago in Downey, California where I taught 4th and 5th grades for 10 years.  After moving to Temecula 26 years ago, I began teaching at Red Hawk Elementary after being home with my boys for many years.  I had the privilege of moving to Temecula Luiseno Elementary when it opened in 2007.

I am married and have 2 grown sons who both attended Temecula schools, having attended Great Oak High School before graduating from SDSU.  We are also blessed to be the grandparents to two adorable grandkids!

My passion is of course teaching, but outside of school I have many interests.  I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, traveling, and going to the beach with them.  One of my biggest passions is running.  I enjoy runnng half-marathons, and ran my first marathon last year, the New York City Marathon.  Finally, when I can find the time (which isn't very often), I love to read!
