I am excited for another year at VRMS!! We have so many great opportunities to get involved in music! There is beginning band, concert band, symphonic band, jazz band, and a winter drum line.

Beginning Band is a class for students who are brand new to music. No experience necessary! Typically Beginning Band students are in 6th grade, but any VRMS student can join.

Concert Band is a class for second year students. We continue to work on building a good solid musical foundation. This group is open to any student with at least one year of musical experience

Symphonic Band is the advanced band at VRMS. Auditions are required for this group and auditions usually happen at the end of the previous year. Students knew to VRMS can speak to me and we can hold an audition for placement in one of the bands.

Jazz Band is open to any musician on campus, regardless of their instrument. Typical Jazz instruments are Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Drums, Piano, Guitar, and Bass Guitar, but any other instrument is able to join us.

Winter Drum Line is an after school group. For more information, please speak to me!

Parent Support Group: There is a parent support group who fundraise and organize parent volunteers for events and activities. For more information on that, or if you are not receiving band email please contact me or the booster president at boosters@vailranchmusic.org.
