I am from San Diego originally and a Padres fan since I was little.

I graduated from Bonita Vista High School .

I got my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California San Diego .

I got my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Fullerton .

I got my teaching credential in Math and Physics from California State University San Marcos .

I worked as an engineer for K&N Engineering, Inc . for 10 years before becoming a teacher.

I student taught in math at Great Oak and TVHS.

Before teaching Physics at Great Oak, I taught math at Vista High School in San Diego County.

I am married to Mrs. Miles who is also a teacher in the district.

Our son, Heath turned 12over the summer.
