Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lisa Shanahan

Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year.  I am Lisa Shanahan and I teach Health Science, Physical Education, Fitness Walking and Credit Recovery at Rancho Vista High School.  I am in my 24th year of teaching with Temecula Valley Unified School District.  I have a Bachelors Degree from California State University San Marcos and a Masters Degree in Education from Concordia University in Irvine.  I have 2 single subject credentials in Health Science and Physical Education, as well as a CLAD multiple subject teaching credential.  I am also a GATE certified teacher for TVUSD.

My husband is a high school teacher in San Diego and teaches Health Science and PE. We have 2 sons, Michael who is a senior at California State University San Marcos majoring in software engineering and plays baseball for the CSUSM baseball team, and Brendan who is a senior at Great Oak High School and plays baseball on the Great Oak varsity team.  I enjoy being involved in all of their baseball activites, as well as exercising, spending time with my extended family, and traveling.
