  • Before and After School Extended Services is TVUSD's childcare program for elementary school students.  Each center, held at select school sites, is supervised by caring, energetic and qualified staff.

In addition to offering children a safe environment before and after school, BASES also provides nurturing social interactions, recreational activities and intellectual stimulation.

Mission

  • BASES extends the quality of each child's school experience through nurturing social interactions, recreational activities, emotional expression and intellectual stimulation.  Caring, energetic and qualified staff provide an environment which incorporates family, child and community while keeping them safe before and after school.

Goals

    • To develop attitudes of caring, cooperation and sharing with children and adults
    • To foster awareness, understanding and respect for your peers, adults, family and community
    • To stimulate a curiosity for learning and the ability to be resourceful, to observe, think and problem solve
    • To encourage good work habits while caring for self, others, and their environment
