Voter-approved Temecula Measure S, the Temecula 911 Emergency Response, Public Safety and Vital City Services Measure, increases the City’s existing sales tax rate by 1 percent (1.00%).  As a result, effective April 1, 2017, the Temecula sales and use tax rate will increase from the current rate of 7.75 percent to the new rate of 8.75 percent.  See attached spreadsheet for the Sales and Use tax City rates in Riverside County.
